It’s whale watching season in Vilanculos Mozambique Dont miss out on the fun!

From July to October the Mozambican ocean is even more alive filled with melodious songs as the Graceful giant mammals (Hump back whales )make their migratory way to mate and feed as well as teach their calves to tail slap, spy hop and breach in the warmer waters of Mozambique.

Humpback whales produce sounds that can be heard hundreds of miles away and have acrobatic movements like leaping out of the water and are more often seen teaching their calves to breach, slap tail, and spy hop, it is always a special and exciting moment to experience. Sometimes you can even see or hear them during our Scuba diving and snorkeling excursions which are always fantastic

In Vilanculos, the Bazaruto Archipelago and the deep waters of the Cape of Sao Sebastian are the Best area for whale watching excursions. Vilanculos, Barra, Pemba, and Tofo are the best places to watch whales in Mozambique between July to October and up to December in certain areas.
